Great example of Cayman S 987 with spec for comfortable track use.
One of the most popular tuning methods for Porsche Cayman and Boxster cars worldwide is conversion. In our country, this method is simply not known, and as a result, it is impossible to see such a car on the road. The essence of the conversion lies in installing the entire front part ("face") of a Porsche 911 onto a Porsche Cayman or Boxster. Since these cars share many common parts, the conversion process is done without the intervention of a body shop. All stock parts are removed, and components from the 911 are installed. If necessary, everything can easily be reverted back. In the case of this 987 Cayman S, not just any front from the 911 Carrera was used, but the front from the racing 911 Cup, which significantly improved the aerodynamics of the car's front end. Naturally, the car now has a very distinctive appearance. There are particularly many cars modified in this way in South Korea, where it's a significant aspect of car culture.
